Cosmetic Clinic Acne TreatmentsThere are many reasons why acne is one of the most common causes for depression and low self esteem. This is because the first eruption of acne usually breaks out at puberty – a time when the adolescents are making all effort to be attractive to the opposite sex, to belong, to be admired. As it is the teenagers have to adjust with the changes that are transforming their bodies from children into adults and there are plenty of awkward times. In addition, when acne breaks out, you may feel demoralized and self conscious. There Is Good News – Do Not DespairThough there is no cure for acne – there are plenty of treatments which can control and keep it from becoming more inflamed. Basically, the treatment would involve topically applied retinoids backed up the third generation antibiotics which would totally pull back any infection that is caused by the clogged sebaceous glands. Beauty clinics are adept at the removal of blackheads and nowadays there are plenty of face washes that can remove the mild acne with a plain wash. It is advisable when you have acne to avoid touching your face too often or pinch (attempt to extract) the comedones since this would further aggravate the condition. People who are affected by this chronic and/ or severe acne can also have hope for respite. However, the treatment for the more serious attacks of acne takes more time, patience and medication before they see any real improvement. When the acne is manifested through pus filled papules and pustules, there is the danger of these developing into permanent skin lesions and scars. This in turn would need special beauty treatment to restore the condition of skin to normal. Beauty Remedies For Skin Damage By AcneThe inflammation of the acne can and would be controlled by the administration of higher antibiotics and other medications. However, the imperfections that it causes the skin – particularly on the face – need more than medicines. Some of the treatments used for restoring the skin to its former glory are: Dermabrasion – this is a method by which the upper most layer of the skin is removed and along with it all the existing imperfections caused by acne. The new skin would grow gradually, giving the person an almost perfect and blemish free facial skin. Chemical peeling – the dermabrasion usually takes care of the not-so-serious indentations/ marks left on the skin by acne. The deeper ones would be removed by this procedure. Chemical peeling reaches a little deeper and hence it is able to erase the worst of the acne scars. Temporary relief – for those who are not comfortable with having their skin peeled off there are other choices; however, these are not permanent and would need to be repeated over a period of time ranging between three months to one year. Some examples are collagen injections, fat injections / transfer, steroid injections, etc. |
